Tóm tắt High school students often lack interest in English lessons, especially in non-compulsory contexts, leading to low engagement and poor learning outcomes. This review explores the use of AI-powered tools like Kahoot! and Quizizz to create warm-up games that boost student interest and attention. A systematic review was conducted, using thematic analysis to synthesize findings from previous studies. The results show that AI tools significantly reduce teacher workload by automating the creation of interactive warm-up activities, while also enhancing student engagement and motivation. However, challenges such as limited technology access, inadequate teacher training, and concerns about over-reliance on technology were identified. The study highlights the need for further research in the Vietnamese context, where cultural and infrastructural differences may influence the effectiveness of AI tools.
